The hemmer foot, or rolled hemmer, is used for sewing narrow rolled hems commonly seen on shirt tails, table linens, and frill edges. This specialized foot features a scroll-shaped feed on the upper side and a straight groove on the underside, precisely defining the width of the resulting hem.
