Janome 3160QDC-G Quilting & Sewing Machine - 60 Built-in Stitches with Superior Plus Feed

It is versatile, switching from quilting to embroidery to hemming drapes. Oh, oh... it has a built in needle threader! I am so excited to explore the machine more.

I Ordered and received my machine faster than expected. Arrived in mint condition. I unboxed it and stitched out all the stitches in a “stitch book. “ This little grape machine does not disappoint.
It ran so smoothly and everything is laid out so perfectly on the front of the machine. Did a quick Jean hem test. No problems tough strong machine. Love the adjustable speed slider. And the scissor cutter was so handy doing the stitch out. Accessories were more than generous including even a walking foot. The extension table and hard case are valuable add ons as I plan to hall it to class. And with my arthritis this 12 pound machine will take little effort to take along. I knew it would be a fantastic machine because I have Janome machines already but it’s nice not to be disappointed. I highly recommend the 3160 as an excellent machine as a starter and a keeper if you upsize some day or as a class machine like I am doing.
Then of course there is the excellent and patient service I received with my one hundred questions when I contacted the store.
I have been buying selling and trading up machines for years and I can say that LINDA’S QUILT SHOPPE is my favourite so far.
They even shipped it to me free all the way to Brandon Manitoba.

I bought the Janome 3160 as a second machine to take to quilting classes and for travel.
It is light weight but still has most of the features I love on my larger machine. I wanted a machine with a needle up/down, locking stitch and a thread cutter.
It sews very smoothly, and has a lovely straight stitch, so far it is working very well for me.
It's a nice solid machine but easy to transport.
