Introduction to Appliqué with Carol

This is a technique class for students with a good basic knowledge of quilting and is not ideal for a brand new quilter. Appliqué (where the fabric is sewn on top of another fabric, rather than sewing pieces together to make the top layer) is more involved than piecing, so a bit more experience in quilt making is recommended before taking this class.

This is a chance to try several methods using na kit that I will provide. Students will then choose which method(s) they will use to make their blocks into a table runner. Students attend 2 days in a row (and can leave their equipment and supplies overnight if they wish), then return a week later for their last class. I will also show a variety of samples of appliqué.
