Garment Sewing Workshop - Orchard Dress

This is an introductory garment sewing class designed to build on your basic construction skills. In this workshop, you’ll create the Orchard Dress by Helen’s Closet—a free PDF pattern available when you sign up for their newsletter.

The Orchard Dress is an easy-to-wear swing dress with thin straps and inseam pockets, perfect for everyday wear. The class will guide you through pattern layout, sewing techniques, and finishing touches so you can confidently complete your dress.

Skill Level:
Confident Beginner – some experience with basic garment construction is recommended.

Supplies Required:

• PDF pattern must be downloaded and printed prior to the first class (search: Helen’s Closet Orchard Dress).

• Refer to the PDF printing guide for help if needed.

• Fabric, notions, and other sewing supplies (full supply list provided upon registration).
