Button Shank Plate (A.K.A. Hump Jumper)

This Hump Jumper is the perfect piece to help you get through those thick seams with ease. Just place it under your sewing machine's presser foot to keep it level with sewing over thick bumps or heavy seams. You can also use this foot as a Button Shank Plate, when attaching buttons to thicker fabrics. When sewing on the button, this plate is placed between the button and the fabric to prevent the button from pulling on the fabric.
