I just started using it, and so far I'm loving it. Not used to some of the feet, so ordered the ones I'm used to. I use it mainly for quilting and loving the 12" throat as it makes free motion so much easier as there is a bigger, flat area to work on.
I can honestly say I love everything about my new allegro except as usual Baby lock has dropped the ball with their truly awful automatic threader that is too fiddly to bother with. But it's a small price to pay for a 12 inch harp.
I have another Alegro machine but this new one gives me some grief threading needles. As well, I was disappointed with the lack of a " bonus package " that came with the machine I bought last year. This kit included scissors, 100 bobbins, 10 packs of Schmetz needles and several additional feet.
Nice machine Good instruction manual
I am tickled pink about this machine which I have named ALICE after my mom (Dad's nickname for her)
I am still playing with this machine, getting comfortable with it.
She is definitely a beauty!
I look forward to many projects in the future!!!
