I have been wanting a coverlock machine for a few years, but kept hesitating , thinking it might be an expensive luxury which would take up space and not get used much. The procrastination paid off though, because when I finally decided I ended up with the 3000 rather than an earlier model, and it is an amazing machine. It is not intimidating to learn and on the second day I sewed two t-shirts which look pretty good. I look forward to experimenting with a variety of fabrics and stitches and becoming as comfortable with it as I am with the serger.
The coverpro 3000 sews beautifully. So much better than twin needles and zigzags when hemming and top stitching knits. Love the top coverstitch as well.
If you already know how to use a sewing machine/serger, the learning curve is minimal, but still worth playing around with scrap fabric a bit.
Shipped quickly, even during their big sale.
Very good customer service. They answered my questions very quickly and delivery was very fast.
I love my Janome Coverpro 3000 P. I brought it from Linda's quilt shoppe ( this is my second purchased from them. My first one was Mc 550 E. I got a free gift from Jim with my Coverpro ) i am really happy with Jim, he answers all my questions that I concern. I can sew really professionally with my Coverpro. I sew one - pass with my neck line, Hemmings.......... even I use it with my quilting, as I do quilting coat, quilt garments....... I love the" top coverstitch " options ...... I recommend Linda's Quilt Shoppe, their fast shipping & helping hands. Thanks so much Jim !
